During School Holidays
Make these school holidays a time for new friendships, creative adventures and learning through play!
Autism Alliance’s Communicate and Connect Group Program offers children aged 4–12 years opportunities to explore their interests, practise everyday skills and connect with others in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Designed and facilitated by our therapy team, the program brings together hands-on activities that encourage communication, teamwork, confidence and independence—with plenty of fun along the way.
Holiday program period
26 September – 10 October 2026
Our play-based sessions provide a supportive environment where young children can learn and practice essential social skills. We focus on communication, sharing, and turn-taking, fostering a solid foundation for their social growth. Together, we build a world of understanding and friendship!
Program highlights
Creative Corner: Explore art, craft and imaginative projects that encourage creativity and self-expression.
Brain Builders & STEM: Discover puzzles, science experiments and hands-on challenges that spark curiosity and problem-solving.
Rhythm, Movement & Music: Enjoy music, movement and dance while practising coordination and joining in with others.
Sensory & Messy Play: Explore textures, materials and playful sensory experiences with support and encouragement.
Friendship Builders: Practise communication, taking turns and teamwork through shared games and group activities.
Mini Chef Moments: Build everyday skills through simple cooking and food-preparation projects.
Chill & Recharge Zone: Take time to reset with calming activities, mindfulness and relaxation.
Through exciting and collaborative activities, children learn the power of working together, fostering communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.

Every child brings different interests, strengths and support needs. Before confirming enrolment, our team will discuss these with you and your family/ support team to assess program suitability and agree on the appropriate level of support.

Places are limited, so we encourage families to register their interest early. Enrolment is confirmed following our review of your child’s support needs and available places.
